Otley Walking Festival 2026

This long running walking festival is now in its 25th edition! This year there will be almost 50 different walks on offer. Like our own Bingley Celebration of Walking, it is entirely ran by volunteers and like us, Otley is part of the Walkers are Welcome town network. So with so much in common, we are very delighted to be part of the adventure this year by offering to lead a walk for the festival. And as it turns out, it’s not uncommon for the Otley Festival to offer walks outside of the town boundaries. The entire Walking Festival runs from Saturday 27th June to Sunday 5th July 2026, we will have our walk on Saturday 4th July.

Fossil & Butterfly Walks at Prince of Wales Park

Here are some exciting guided walks organised in Bingley Prince of Wales Park this year by the Friends of Prince of Wales Park, one of the local organisations linked to us.

This Grade II Historic England listed woodland park has some good formal paths and drives but it is still recommended to wear good footwear as you may walk on tracks through woodland or across the open heath at the top of the park.
