Our Guided Walk for the Bradford Pennine Gateway Trail Launch
On 19th september 2026, our leaders will guide walkers along the middle section of the new Bradford Pennive Gateway Trail – a gentle-to-moderate 3.5-mile walk from Victoria Hall in Saltaire to Bingley North Bog, taking in Trench Meadows and the wetlands of Bingley North Bog along the way – home to dragonflies, herons and kingfishers.
It’s a route many of our regulars know well, but a great chance to share it with newcomers as part of a much bigger district-wide celebration.
We set off at 10.30am, with the walk taking around two hours including a break, finishing near Five Rise Locks and Bingley town centre, where there’s food, plus train and bus links back to Saltaire.
