Walks for Manorlands – Harden Cricket Club

The 18th annual series of Walks for Manorlands is being held on Saturday 28th September 2024 from Harden Cricket Club. There will be a choice of a 3,5,10 or 15 miles walks. Their purpose is to provide a friendly and enjoyable full or half day’s walking and at the same time raise funds for the Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice. Dogs are welcome too!

As part of their regular Summer Walk & Talk events, the Bingley and District Local History Society is organising a local history walk in Bingley St Ives. Bingley Walkers are Welcome are delighted to promote this event which will be led by our own committee member and local resident of the St Ives Estate, Susan Hart.

Planned to introduce non-birders to birds in St.Ives Estate, the walks can take up to 3 hours depending upon weather and the birds. They take place in all weathers so please come ready for the conditions with suitable footwear. Children are welcome but dogs will hinder our chances of getting close to the birds. Open to all and free of charge.

For these events you will need good footwear as pathways are often wet and slippery. Also: please bring suitable clothes for the weather. No charge is asked for events but donations to the society are always welcome.

Officially accredited as a Walkers are Welcome town since 2015!
