Tree, Bats & Fungi Walks at Bingley St Ives
This event is now back at St Ives! Meet at 10:00am at the car park by Coppice Pond on Sunday 27th September. The walk is led by Ian Forward an expert on fungi. Even on bad years we have found a huge variety of species and on good years have over filled a table top with finds. They range from the toxic to the edible plus more than a few that whilst they will not poison you, do not taste very good. You may find it handy to have: A sharp knife, some grease proof paper and a few plastic (lunch size) boxes. With these items you can save finds for further research at home.
