Shipley Walk for Carers 2025 with Anna Dixon MP

Bingley Walkers are Welcome are proud to lead one of three community walks as part of the Shipley Walk for Carers 2025 on Sunday 21st September 2025, a heartfelt event raising awareness and funds for Carers’ Resource, which supports unpaid and family carers across the Bradford district.
We invite you to walk with us in celebration of those who give their time, energy and love to care for others—often without recognition or rest.

This event is supported by Bingley, Baildon, and Burley-in-Wharfedale Walkers are Welcome groups, alongside the University of Bradford and Bradford 2025.

Let’s walk together to honour those who care. We hope to see you there!

Where We’re Heading?

All three walks—starting from Burley, Baildon, and Bingley—will converge at Skills Kitchen @ Salts Hub, Victoria Road, Saltaire, BD18 3LA around 12:30pm. There, you’ll be welcomed with refreshments and short speeches celebrating the vital role of carers in our communities.

Skills Kitchen provides training opportunities for people with learning disabilities, making it a fitting venue to highlight care, inclusion, and community support.
