We are very pleased to announce that the next Walkers are Welcome Annual Get Together will be co-hosted by the towns of Bingley, Baildon, Burley-in-Wharfedale, and Otley on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th October 2025!
Back in 2019, Bingley hosted a “Northern Get Together,” which was very well received, and we felt it was time to do it again—this time with the support of our neighbouring towns. Bingley gained its accreditation in January 2015, and we’re confident we can deliver a successful and enjoyable meeting. We’re looking forward to the challenge!
When and Where is it?
We will be hosting this event on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th October 2025, at Bingley Arts Centre.
We believe Bingley is an ideal venue as it’s located on the main Settle–Carlisle railway line and easily accessible by train from Leeds and Bradford, which both have nationwide rail connections.

We have lots of events planned, including workshops, guest speakers, entertainment (Saturday evening) and various local walks on both days. The cost for the two days will be £20 to register and this will include a buffet lunch on Saturday and teas and coffees throughout the event. An extra £20 will be asked if you want to attend the Saturday evening. There will be no lunch included on the Sunday but the town has many walker friendly establishments. Accommodation is not included in the cost either.
Please note: this event is only open for registration to fellow members of the Walkers are Welcome towns network.
