Countryfile Ramble for Children in Need

What a result!

We are so proud to report that we managed to collect a total of £343 for our Community Countryfile Ramble on behalf of Children in Need. During our walk we were interviewed by John Craven and we said to him we would raise a couple of hundred pounds (and really we didn't think we'd get anywhere close). So what a result! Thank you so much to everyone who donated!

What happened on the day?

Our monthly Sunday walk in October will be a very special one indeed! Join Michael on Sunday 9th October at 10.00am on Market Square (Bingley Arts Centre) for our fun fund raising Community Countryfile Ramble on behalf of Children in Need. We have teamed up with both Friends of Prince of Wales Park and Friends of Myrtle Park to bring you this walk. Along the way we will rattle donation buckets at the cafes and passers by. We would of course appreciate a donation from yourself too.

The walk will go up to 3 Rise, Plevna Terrace, Beck Lane, snickets to Lady Lane and arrive at Prince of Wales Park. Here we will be met by volunteers from Friends of Prince of Wales Park (FOPOWP) for a short history of the park then back down to town via 5 Rise and into Myrtle Park for a short loop and history by Friends of Myrtle Park.
