Our second Celebration of Walking will be on Bank Holiday Monday May 4th! We offer a choice of 5 FREE guided walks all designed and led by our experienced walk leaders. Each walk has something different to offer to walkers of all abilities, ages and experience. It is a real chance to see some of Bingley and the surrounding district’s most stunning sights and landmarks. Well behaved dogs are also very welcome! Save the date, more information to come soon.

The Christmas Tree Festival in Bingley has been a great annual event since 2018. Every year, many people come to visit all the different trees and participate in the event at Bingley All Saints parish church. Once again, this year Bingley Walkers are Welcome will have their own tree (see picture) and we are very proud to participate in this great community event from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th December!

The Bingley Christmas Fayre is an annual event organised by Bingley Town Council. It’s a great day out packed with entertainments for all the family and we absolutely recommend it! Come and enjoy the fun on Saturday 22nd November 2025.

Join Bingley Walkers are Welcome for a gentle 2.5-mile walk in support of unpaid and family carers across the Bradford district. This walk is part of the Shipley Walk for Carers 2025, culminating in a community gathering at Salts Hub, Saltaire.

Join us for a special September Sunday Walk celebrating Heritage Open Days and the launch of Bingley’s new Heritage Trail! Enjoy a guided tour with Walkers Are Welcome, exploring key historic sites and discovering new family-friendly heritage info points around town.
Bingley’s cultural scene is set to burst into life this year with Bingley 25 — a vibrant, three-day festival of creativity, community, and heritage taking place over the May bank holiday weekend (May 3–5, 2025).
As part of the Bradford Millennium Way 2025 programme, Bingley Walkers are Welcome will take you on a moderate 6.5-mile circular walk into the Harden Valley, showcasing the delights of its many wooded areas. From the hilly conifer plantation of Ruin Bank Woods to the quaint village of Rycroft and the wonderful St. Ives Estate, this walk has a lot to offer! And it’s just on the doorstep of Bingley, which is easily accessible by train and bus.
Bingley Walkers are Welcome is almost ten years old. For our ninth AGM edition, we will meet face to face on Thursday 17th October 2024, 7.00pm at The Brown Cow, Bingley. The meeting will start at 7.00 prompt and we will provide tea and coffee on arrival.
