The Friends of Prince of Wales Park have invited us to take part in their extravaganza party in the park this May 21st and we have gladly accepted. So join us on the day, let’s party altogether and don’t forget to visit our stall too! Below are some more information about the event.
A fancy dress party in the park
The Friends of Prince of Wales Park are cooking up a fantastic family friendly event this May 21st between 12.30 and 5 pm in the Prince of Wales Park arena. Take a pinch of African drumming, a generous dollop of Punch & Judy, two scoops of Morris dancing, a large helping of fancy dress parades, drizzle it all with Jazz music, a real ale bar and BBQ and what do you get? A Right Royal Do! If you also add in Forest School activities, Peg Doll making and the usual selection of stalls, they have a “tasty” afternoon planned.

Why “A Right Royal Do?”
Well, the park is named after the Prince of Wales so the theme of the event is Royalty. The Friends invite everyone to come dressed as a King, Queen, Prince or Princess. Prizes will be given for the best costumes. They ask for a minimum donation of £1 per person on arrival to help them cover event costs and fund future work.
Let’s face it, where else would you get such a feast of entertainment for £1 per person? Start wishing for a warm, dry May 21st .
How to access to Prince of Wales Park?
There is not a lot of car park spaces around Prince of Wales Park and we would highly recommend parking in one of Bingley town centre car parks and then walk up Park Road. Parking is free on Sundays!
