On Saturday 28th March, Bingley Walkers are Welcome is honoured to support a special community walk to remember former Bingley Town Councillor Edwina Simpson, who died on 24 December 2025.
As well as serving on the Town Council, Edwina was closely involved in supporting the creation of Bingley Walkers are Welcome – as well as environmental and community initiatives. Her commitment to community engagement, environmental care and wellbeing reflected everything that Walkers are Welcome stands for.
This informal commemorative walk of approximately two miles will follow well-maintained footpaths around Bingley.
