A walk in Black Hills near Ruin Bank Wood

Access to the St David's Ruin is on private land and as such we can't really give you directions to it. However, we have a great alternative walk which pass near the folly and goes through Black Hills, next to Ruin Bank Wood.

It looks very different to when I was a child and often accompanied my father who along with his brother was a forester in Cottingley woods. (Joe Eaton estate). Nobody much knew it was there and it was surrounded by rocky land and forest.
