As you might have already noticed, the path running along Glovershaw Beck near Shipley Glen has been reopened since early August. This wouldn't have been possible without the work and dedication of the Bradford Countryside and Rights of Way team. We covered the issue back in February when storm Dennis and storm Ciara caused all this destruction. And then the pandemic happened.. It didn't mean that nothing could be done about it though and we are really thankful that this has been repaired now.
This comes at a good time now that the second lockdown is in full force. Many more people have turned to walking as a form of exercise and paths are therefore in greater need at the moment. We hope that everyone will stay safe though and follow the national lockdown rules in regards to Covid as well as the Countryside Code
We are pleased to report that the Dalesway/Dales High Way link path up Glovershaw Beck near Eldwick is now open again after our repairs following flood damage earlier this year. Enjoy. pic.twitter.com/p0Th563T8L
