COME ALONG AND JOIN IN!
All walks depart from Bingley Market Square
|Walk 1 - Commerce and Riverside:|
Leisurely 90 minute walk around Bingley looking at the fascinating local history, led by John Flockton, Chair Bingley
Local History Society.
|Walk 2 - Bingley’s Hidden Secrets:|
4 hour walk around Bingley taking in the River Aire, moorland, woodland and the canal. Good for those looking for something more energetic, exploring the wonders of the Bingley area. Approx. 8 miles led by Cedric Farineau.
|Walk 3 - Deer and Riverside:|
Lovely 90 minute riverside walk during which it is possible you may see deer, stoats, kingfisher and cormorant. Dogs welcome. Can be muddy at times. 3 miles led by Kath and Don James.
|Walk 4 - Rainbow Children’s Walk|
A short and safe 60 minute walk for our younger members to explore Bingley. During this walk along the river and through Myrtle Park a variety of wildlife can be found.1 mile in length. Led by Ralph Harding.
|Walk 5 - Damart Healthy Heart walk:|
This 60 minute walk takes in one of the ‘Wonders of the Waterways’, Five Rise Locks, the North Bog returning via the
River Aire to the Market Square. Including some brisk climbs to increase your heart rate! 2 miles in length. Led by David Smith.
